Myofascial Release Massage

$90 per 60 minute session

$135 per 90 minute session

Myofascial release massage is a gentle, hands-on therapy that works with the body’s connective tissue, known as fascia. Rather than using strong pressure or fast movements, this approach involves slow, sustained techniques that encourage the fascia to soften, lengthen, and rehydrate. By tuning into areas of restriction or tension, the practitioner supports the body in unwinding holding patterns, allowing for greater ease and fluidity of movement. This deeply intuitive practice often creates a sense of stillness, helping you reconnect with your body and release tension held over time.

The benefits of myofascial release massage can be both physical and subtle. It may help to reduce pain and stiffness, improve mobility and posture, and support recovery from injury by restoring balance within the tissues. Many people also experience a calming effect on the nervous system, leading to reduced stress and a greater sense of relaxation. As the body releases long-held tension, there can also be a feeling of emotional lightness and overall wellbeing, making it a supportive practice for both body and mind.

Classical Chinese Acupuncture

$100 for initial consultation (75 minutes)

$80 for subsequent sessions (60 mins)

$30 surcharge for ACC sessions

Classical Chinese acupuncture is a holistic healing system grounded in the principles of traditional East Asian medicine, working with the body’s vital energy, or Qi, to restore balance and support natural wellbeing. This approach considers not just physical symptoms, but the whole person—supporting harmony between body, mind, and spirit. Treatments are tailored to the individual, creating space for deep healing, relaxation, and reconnection.

As an ACC-registered practitioner, treatments may be eligible for support through New Zealand’s Accident Compensation Corporation. This means you can access professional, personalised care with the reassurance of recognised standards and clinical accountability. Please have your ACC45 number when booking these subsidised sessions

Whether you are seeking support for pain, injury recovery, or overall wellbeing, classical acupuncture offers a gentle yet effective pathway back to balance.

A little more about yoga - online and in person

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slow, meditative practice that invites you to soften, release, and reconnect with your body on a deeper level. Through longer-held, floor-based postures, yin targets the connective tissues—such as fascia, ligaments, and joints—helping to improve flexibility, circulation, and overall mobility. Rather than focusing on effort or intensity, this practice encourages stillness and mindful awareness, creating space to unwind both physically and mentally. Yin yoga offers a gentle yet powerful opportunity to balance a busy lifestyle, calm the nervous system, and cultivate a sense of inner ease.

Yin Yoga Online

Online yin yoga offers the same slow, grounding practice from the comfort of your own home, allowing you to create a space that feels safe, quiet, and deeply personal. Because yin involves longer-held, floor-based poses, having a few simple props on hand can greatly enhance your experience—such as a yoga mat, a couple of cushions or pillows, a folded blanket, and optionally yoga blocks, strap or a bolster. These supports help you settle into each posture with ease, encouraging the body to soften without strain. Practising online also gives you the freedom to move at your own pace, adjust your space as needed, and fully relax into the stillness that yin yoga offers.

Gentle Yoga

Gentle yoga is a nurturing practice designed to support the body with kindness and ease. With a focus on slow, mindful movement, breath awareness, and accessible postures, it helps to build strength, improve flexibility, and encourage relaxation without strain or pressure. This style of yoga is suitable for all levels, including beginners, those returning after injury, or anyone seeking a softer approach to movement. Gentle yoga creates a supportive space to reconnect with your body, calm the mind, and move in a way that feels steady, safe, and restorative.
